Manufactured in 1907. Fitted with a blued tapered nickel steel barrel with Lyman hunter front sight and sporting rear. Half length magazine and blued takedown frame. Upper tang has a large plugged hole. 2-piece plain walnut stocks with replacement checkered steel shotgun butt plate. CONDITION: Good. Rifle retains portions of faded blue on the barrel and magazine tube, the balance worn to gray patina. Traces of factory blue likewise retained on the receiver although it has largely faded to patina. Hammer and lever display a few flashes of case color. Stocks have a dried appearance with scattered dings, abrasions and a few chips. Butt plate is a Winchester replacement, likely originally hard rubber. Strong, heavily frosted bore. Fine mechanics. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
