2nd model rifle manufactured in 1883. Classic configuration with octagon barrel, full length magazine, sporting sights, and 2-piece plain walnut stocks with tool trap rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel has faded to plum patina with some high edge wear. Receiver displays a salt and pepper patina. Stocks appear dry as lightly cleaned with scattered impressions. A small split present on the right side of the wrist. Dark frosted bore with defined rifling. Action requires attention and will not open entirely without binding. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
