Only 200 were made by Colt in 1978. It is a standard Colt SAA .45 revolver that was specially decorated to mark the Battle of San Jacinto in 1836. Full nickel finish, non fluted cylinder, one piece walnut grips with no medallions. The cylinder bears etching of the battle. Left side of barrel has the 10 of 200 and April 21, 1836 San Jacinto etching with standard Colt caliber legend. Right side of barrel has the "REMEMBER THE ALAMO, REMEMBER GOLIAD. The frame has light etching on both sides as well. Comes in special wood case with plaque. CONDITION: Unfired with minor handling. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
