Presto, a trade mark of George Schrade Knife Company operated from 1929-1956 in Bridgeport Conn. Listed on page 106 as the 4 1/8" singles. Both knives feature Brain Worm grooved handles with steel bolsters. One blade is stamped Presto Pat Pend on one side with G.Schrade B'Port, CT on other side. The other has just Preston with GEO. Schrade Bridgeport. CONDITION: Excellent. Both sets of handles are crack and chip free. Blades are clean with light sharpening. Both open and lock correctly. PROVENANCE: From a single consignor life long collection. A great many of these knives were obtained from Mark Erikson and many are pictured in his book "Antique American Switchblades" published in 2004.
