Lot consists of: (A) Turned percussion brass cannon measuring 13 - 1/2" in length and nearly 2 - 3/4" in diameter. Bore measures .78 caliber smoothbore. Mounted on swivel. British Birmingham proofs observed near breech. Light moves freely through touch hole when shined through the bore. (B) Stepped turned decorative brass cannon with mounting pegs on either side to accommodate a naval type mount. Measures 9 - 1/2" in length and about 2" in diameter. Marked "38.2.0.0" on underside near where breech would be. This cannon is decorative and does not have a touch hole. (C) Belgian turned brass signal cannon measuring 11 - 3/4" long and 1 - 1/2" in diameter. Bore measures .50 caliber smoothbore. Has mounting pegs to accommodate a naval type mount. Marked with Belgian ELG proof mark near touch hole. Light or air does not pass through touch hole. (D) Turned brass signal cannon measuring 14" in length and about 2" in diameter. Bore is about .67 caliber. Has mounting pegs on either side to accommodate a naval type mount. Air and light move freely through touch hole. CONDITION: Good.
