The compact design of the Model UC (for Under Cover) submachine gun was designed by Utah Connor and manufactured in very limited numbers before May 19th, 1986. However, there were about 100 unfinished, yet registered, receivers, most of which were later finished off into guns. This gun is one of them with manufacturer markings on the underside of the receiver. These guns use a modified Uzi bolt, with standard unmodified Uzi magazines. This gun is in its original fitted aluminum hard case, with 1 spare 32 round magazine, takedown tool, a packet of spare springs, and 3 spare dust covers/end caps. No loading tool present. Potential buyers should check out Small Arms Review Vol. 15, No. 4 (January 2012), featuring an article on the UC-9. It can be found at: https://smallarmsreview.com/the-uc-9-smg-hidden-in-plain-sight/. Electronic NFA registry indicates “PEARL, MARTIN G DBA PEARL MANUFA” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original finish. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. A very scarce example of an unusual machine gun, which also makes for a tremendous conversation piece. “Hidden In Plain Sight”. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2024-09-096.
