Very little is known about this original artwork for a political cartoon. It involves the Boston Red Sox, which were involved at a minor level during the Black Sox scandal early in the 20th century. This cartoon has a lot to do with the Black Sox scandal and the Red Sox, who were first to learn about the betting that took place in the World Series. An amazing survivor and certainly worthy of any baseball or Red Sox collector. A unique and rare piece. Shows some writing in pencil that reads "Bringing home the bacon - the end" across the top. Signed Williams in the bottom left-hand corner. Framed in a plastic poster frame.
