Carte-de-visite photograph pocket size album, containing 14 images. Included is a Lincoln bust engraving on an embossed mount with high relief US eagle at top, and crossed US flags underneath, and five Civil War soldiers including signed bust view of Jacob Donica, 4th Illinois Cavalry, Co. G. Enl. 9/5/61 at Ottawa, Il, as private, promoted corporal, and mustered out 11/3/64 at Springfield, Illinois; E. Willoughby, Indiana backmark, possibly 2nd Indiana Cavalry, 1861-1865, POW 7/30/1864; seated officer, name indecipherable, Nashville backmark; and full standing officer in post-War copy photo identified at bottom as D.D. Summerville, whose name appears on the inside of the front cover as the album owner. CONDITION: Very good condition and tones to the images. Album cover with detached flap. Minor foxing and stains.
