In production from 1971-1989, the R-107 Class SL was the longest single series ever produced by Mercedes Benz. Often referred to as the best looking car produced by Mercedes to date, the 1989 model was the final year of production for this design and is not only considered the pinnacle of its development but also the most desirable.
