A cast-iron match vending machine made by the La Clede Mfg. Co. in St. Louis circa 1910. This machine is in original paint with the proper identification for the La Clede company, retaining some original pinstriping. There is an added painted label to the back stating "For sale by grocery, drug, and cigar jobbers". The machine is missing the original handle to operate the mechanism and thee is an added screw there to operate the machine. Reference: "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, page 241.

Condition: (Good - Very Good).
