This is an Exhibit Supply Electric Eye Target Pistol machine in absolutely original and untouched condition. Circa 1936. The player deposits 5¢ in the coin slot and shoots beam of to hit the open and closing bull's eye. Odds indicator in center of backboard spins, finally stopping at odds of 2 - 4 - 6 - 10 or 20. Player then shoots to hit bull's eye three more times. A total of 4 direct hits automatically pays award indicated. Token/ticket dispenser is in lower left-hand corner of the front of the machine. When odds indicator stops at 0, player doesn't bother shooting and deposits another coin, hoping for better luck next time. The game was design to bring new "scientific excitement" to the arcade, saloon and gaming halls across America. Comes with hundreds of original "Play Electric Eye for Amusement" tickets. The front of the token/tickets read "Practice Makes Perfect Skill Souvenir No Cash or Mdse. Value". Wooden case shows minimal wear throughout, interior is clean, crisp and brightly-colored. Marquee is original to machine and is in original paint, no breaks, cracks or repairs. Interior mechanism is original and shows only one tiny repair. Original instruction labels and replacement instruction label are in the machine. Wiring diagram is also attached on the back door. Works well, but may need minor adjustments. A very rare and original machine and an impressive addition to any collection. Exterior locks have been changed and keys are provided.
