1910, AUSTRIAN: An amazing piece of early musical automata, referred to by collectors as "The Side Show". Multiple simultaneous movements including a magician, guitar player, dancing ballerina and trained donkey. Believed to be Austrian and not French, but its heritage is unknown. The Magician will exchange heads with the skeleton, the ballerina dances, the donkey trainer will perform tricks, and the banjo player will strum and play the music. All on a well-constructed platform with wood railings, flower urns, glass panels front, and columns and applied carvings, this automata has a lot going for it. CONSIDERATIONS: Very well preserved, there is light signs of wear, some scuffs and light surface scratches to the flat surfaces, and some paint erosion, but nothing that distracts from the overall great image. Truly a one of a kind automata and worthy of any collection.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.

Condition: (Very Good).
