Circa 1928. Lionel pre-war standard gauge locomotive. Painted tin with brass fittings. From the original State set, this locomotive is the largest and strongest engine Lionel made. This beautiful example has been re-wheeled, and the green body has been professionally restored, but many original parts are used including: railings, headlights and pantographs. It is on the original frame, with the original engine. There is some scratching on the platforms above the trucks from normal usage. Otherwise, this is a spectacular example of this great Lionel toy.
