This chubby fellow is 20", if you want centimeters, from top of head to bottom of the feet, and it has a swivel neck. The arms and hips are all constructed with a cardboard swivel joining beneath the fur. He has the so called "shoe button" eyes, a black stitched nose and mouth, and similar stitching on the top of each arm and leg of a similar manner. Most of the Mohair, especially on the sides of the head, legs, front and back torso, are so relatively full with noticeable wear on the inside of the right arm, just above the paw pad, as well as a similar condition on the left back of the hump and neck. It appears there may have been some well-done professional restitching of the nose, and possible replacement of the felt paw pads. He is very Steiff-like in nature, but perhaps a little bulkier, and no substantiating features such as a button in the ear. Although he has a hump, the arms do not seem to be quite as long and curved as a more-readily verifiable Steiff. Nevertheless, he is probably close to 100 years of age and quite lovable.
