English slightly curved single fuller blade with "SH" inside a running fox for maker Samuel Harvey.A crown over "9" is stamped on left side at top. Brass guard with two branches on right side and a cast spiraling grip with integral pommel and capstan. Front of heart shaped guard inscribed "I T REGT=ESSEX =M / 25". CONDITION" Blade retains a grey patina with heaveier patina and pitting towards top causing some losses to cutting edge. Hilt retains a pleasing dark mustard patina.
