DST. Maker's marked "The Scioto Sign Co." A c. 1950s Carmote Paints Varnishes and Enamels Sold Here double-sided painted metal flange sign. CONDITION: Side 1 has significant fade with areas of surface scratching and scratches with paint loss. The sign shows very minor paint loss on the outer edges, as well as towards the flange section (8.9). Side 2, has good color and gloss with significant surface scratching throughout. The sign has paint loss in the "C" and "A" of the word "Carmote." There is paint loss on the outer edges and inside the flange (8.75).
