Hard to find this original in its original container, but this bisque head baby made by Cuno & Dressel is incised on back of head "Jutta 1914 10". He or she has blue glass sleep eyes and open mouth with separately molded tongue, well-painted brows and upper and lower lashes, as well as still retaining the silk upper eyelashes as well. The five-piece bent limb body with jointed wrists has original finish and is in good condition, with only a small crack on the lower-right arm. The silky cotton and lace chemise with silk ribbons at the sleeves is in excellent original condition, and pinned to it is the original round paper label with the Dressel trademark and name, "Jutta". Wig is original and is dark brown mohair over cork pate with the original silk baby bonnet also still in the box. The box itself, while original, is frail and has been reinforced with clear tape, but requires it to retain its original form and be supportive of the doll. Inside the tissue paper is the original Excelsior padding. 16".

Condition: (Excellent).
