Very nice early German MG-3 (soft) mount suitable for the MG-42 machine gun. Many prefer this mount for recreational use when shooting their MG-42 machine guns as these mounts are lighter and more manageable than the traditional Lafette tripods. Periscope, illumination gear, and leather carrying straps are present with this mount. However, it is missing a few pieces of mounting hardware. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish extremely fine to near excellent overall, with original paint. Periscope optics are clear. Pad cover in good condition. JWK 2024-09-001
