Made of wood, metal, & cloth. Circa 1880. Wind up the mechanism, set a coin on the desk and press the lever. The Freedman's right arm pulls his outstretched arm to his right, causing his left hand to rake the coin into the hole in the desk. He then raises his right hand, thumbs his nose and wiggles his fingers in a humorous gesture as his head turns to the right. He then lowers his right arm back to its original position. Provenance: West Chester Historical Society, Wally Tudor, Stephen Steckbeck, Period redressed figure.

Condition: (Near Mint).
FREEDMANS BANK.
