Straight cheek striped inlaid modified spade bit marked inside the cheek G. S. Garcia / Elko, Nev. This bit style No. 88 in the catalog, sometimes called the El Toro or Las Cruces style. The bit shows some restoration with the throat chains missing and the slobber chains changed to a solid bar, appears to be have done many years ago. Ranch made baling wire rein chains.
