C. 1890–1910. German porcelain figural character head walking cane, possibly Meissen or Dresden, depicting a gentleman with hand-painted facial features, purple cap with floral decoration, and ruffled collar with gilt accents. Mounted to a birds eye maple shaft with dense figuring. Porcelain handle appears free of major chips or cracks with minor gilt wear. Birdseye maple shaft shows no scratches or cracks and remains structurally sound. Length: 37".

CORRECTION: This is a Meissen cane.
