Lot consists of a Japanese Type 99 parts kit which include a lower trigger assembly, barrel, complete bolt with bolt lock, firing pin, operating piston, 2 bipods, 2 recoil springs, as well as a small bag containing a rear receiver cover, charging handle, rear sight, rear sight drum, receiver/ejection port dust covers, lower receiver cover, barrel wedge, an adapted MG-13 magazine, and a few other small components. Lower trigger assembly, barrel, bolt carrier, bolt, rear receiver cover, receiver/ejection port dust covers, lower receiver cover, magazine release lever, rear sight, and rear sight drum are all matching via the serial number "6987". MG-13 magazine bears 2 waffenamts surrounding "BSW" and are followed by the magazine's date of manufacture "1939". CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their arsenal blue finish, exhibiting varying degrees of oxidation on each individual part. Chrome lined barrel's bore is bright, exhibiting good rifling throughout. Wood furniture is very good overall, showing the usual scattered dings and impressions all around. A nice Type 99 light machine gun parts kit that will enable one to keep firing at the range. MLW
