These first pattern model 1925 MVSN daggers are rare, as they were quickly replaced by the second pattern, the model 1937 dagger. Dating circa 1925 this example was worn by Caminere (Black Shirts) and Paratroopers. Cruciform blade without any cutting edge. Plain wood grip scales with brass fasces at center of each side. The cross guard has ball finials on either end and is stamped MVSN on the obverse center and numbered "B 511" on reverse center. The dagger exhibits a matching moderate patina throughout. Complete with its scabbard that features an angled belt loop and a matching patina to the dagger. CONDITION: Good.
