The highlight of this collection features the two gun Colt SAA revolvers with the hand tooled double holster Buscadero rig. The rig comes with a letter from Legends of Leather who hand crafted this set and features Sterling silver spots, buckles, keepers and tips. There is also a letter on this rig from Roy Rogers Jr. thanking them for their participation with the Happy Trails Children's Foundation. The rig is made of the highest quality saddle leather, hand tooled, buckle loops, full skirt that measures 41" in length from post to farthest hole. It houses a pair of 4-3/4" nickel plated, black powder Colt non-firing clones that have faux stag with bark grips. This rig and revolvers were styled after the sets used by Roy Rogers in his television series. Both the guns and holster are in near mint condition. Additional items include a Golden Gate Hat Company of Los Angeles cowboy hat signed by Roy on the brim with custom artwork on the crown and signed inside by the artist. There is a hand tooled leather covered Cowboy Diary with certificate from the museum. Also includes a limited edition lunch box style cased Roy and Dale Fossil watch and bolo as well as two 1950s 3-1/4" Roy and Dale pocket knives from the Novelty Knife Company that have colorful images of Roy and Dale under celluloid scales. There are three hardcover books on the Rogers' along with some museum brochures. All in excellent condition. Would look great housed in a display.
