SST. A very unique and unusual pre-prohibition Rainier Beer Smaltz painted tin sign. Maker marked "Cross P&S Co. Chicago". CONDITION: Sign has good color throughout, with a slight area of discoloration on the right-hand side where the Smaltz paint has worn off. Sign has areas of staining, and the outer edges of the sign show very minor staining, but the piece is completed with the original wood frame and backing. Overall, an outstanding early sign in excellent displaying condition, with a perfect patina and overall rustic look.
