Lot consists of: (A) "The Surrender of General Lee and His Entire Army to Lieut. General U.S. Grant April 9th 1865" print published by Joseph Hoover in 1866. The print is professionally matted and framed measuring approximately 35" x 28 - 5/8" including the frame. CONDITION: The print exhibits yellowing with scattered stains and tears around the edges. Frame exhibits several blemishes from handling. (B) 1884 Kurz and Allison chromolithograph view of the Battle of Gettysburg, specifically depicting Pickett's Charge. Kurz and Allison created a series of 36 battle scenes of the Civil War from the 1880s-1890s. The print is nicely framed and measures approximately 33" x 25 - 5/8" including the frame. CONDITION: The print exhibits vibrant colors despite some fading. Scattered blemishes typical of old paper. Frame exhibits handling wear.
