Lot contains: (A) WWI era Austrian Infantry officer sword with a 24" nickel plated blade and marked "Weyersberg & Stamm, Solingen" with moderate scattered marks, light freckling, and numerous dings on the front edge. Steel fittings retain 30-35% of their nickel finish, and the shark skin covered wire grip exhibits heavy wear and damage. An Austrian portepee is attached in very good condition with an Austrian emblem, and reflect post-WWI use. Nickel plated scabbard retains 75-80% of its finish with light freckling throughout and a dozen or so dents, of which 3 are moderate, and the tip has been bent off center. CONDITION: Overall good to very good. (B) A pre-Imperial Prussian court style sword with a 30" triple-etched blade marked to a maker in Berlin, which retains 50-55% of its finish, with freckling over 30-35% of its surface. Brass fittings retain less than 5% of their gilt finish, with a pearl grip. CONDITION: Good to very good. (C) Early 19th Century Baden cavalry saber with a 30" unmarked blade with scattered marks, dings, and light freckling. Brass fittings are loose, and wooden grip is cracked on both sides, with very little finish remaining. Brass scabbard has a heavy patina with a number of scratches and dents. CONDITION: Good. WZ
