Lot contains: (A) Cased gold and diamonds bar pin measuring 1-3/4", the center of the bar features a gold crown, set with small diamonds. Contained within its red leather case embossed "MOUNTBATTEN" on its lid. Interior of the case stamped with makers name "Garrard & Co Ltd/ Crown Jewellers/ 112 Regent St W.I". CONDITION: Excellent condition. (B) Plaque measuring 3" by 5-5/8" on which is mounted a small silver plaque engraved "Presented By/ Admiral Of The Fleet/ Earl Mountbatten Of Burma/ Chief Of The Defense Staff". Contained within is original box and with note on "Ministry of Defense" letterhead and written in green ink, "with best wishes from Mountbatten of Burma A.F." CONDITION: Excellent. (C) British navy admiral's white top visor cap with double row of bullion leaves on the cloth faced visor, "Gieves Ltd London W. 1." label sewn on the interior crown. Leather sweatband embossed with a gold crown and "L. Mountbatten". CONDITION: Cap is in excellent condition showing minor wear. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
