This is a lot of three framed components of an amazingly interesting photographic memorial of the transfer of David McFadden walking from Coney Island to San Francisco with his piano in April of 1911. On the outside around the photographs are smaller photographs of the event, showing the horse-driven carriage at different points throughout the country as it made its trek from Coney Island to San Francisco. A one of a kind piece of American history. The three framed components showing the trip along the way in different parts of the country in black and white photography are all in very good condition. The photographs are still bright and un-faded, one of the center photographs shows one area of small paper loss over the word "New York" in the lower-left hand corner and some very minor creases. It is in what appears to be its original frame and original matting.

Condition: (8.0 - 8.5).

Item Dimensions: Frame: 34" x 29 - 1/2" x 3/4".
