No. 5815, circa 1964, Remco. This rare toy was offered exclusively by Sears, only by mail order from their catalog, and was only available for a few months prior to Christmas 1964; based on legendary Sci–Fi author Robert Heinlein's 1960 Hugo Award–winning novel “Starship Troopers", this is the only the second time we have ever seen this toy complete and boxed, and the only one we’re aware of that is 100% as issued, including all packing and inserts; it does not appear to have been used, and everything is extremely clean and crisp; this is likely the best existing example of this incredibly rare toy; a lesser one sold for $6400 in our last auction.
