Circa 1964. Poynter Products. We Have It! The Thing From the Addams Family" retail store window sign. Printed paper. This is an extremely rare store window sign used during the "Thing" bank craze accompanying the TV show's popularity. These money-grabbing hand banks previously existed for many years. By only changing the box, they capitalized on the show and took the US by storm. This rare retail display sign is 100% original. There are some faint ink smudges at the top edge and scattered light soiling. A vertical crease runs down the center, and there are a few wrinkles and fold marks, but no tears. Strong colors and graphics make it pop. This is only the second of these signs we are aware of, and this one has been professionally mounted in a frame behind UV glass. This sign is so rare, it's scary! Also includes, "The Thing From The Addams Family" bank in box. Circa 1964. Poynter Products. Plastic battery operated with hand snatching coin. Not working but in clean box with insert.
