This copy of Carl Einstein's Die Kunst Des 20. Jahrhunderts (The Art of the 20th Century) was published in 1928 by Propyläen-Verlag. This is a first edition. This is a wonderful book. There are well over 100 full page images, including many in color, by the world's most prominent modernist painters and sculptors. This copy includes the dust jacket and slipcase. The dust jacket has chipping and a larger area of loss on the spine. The slipcase has overall wear and one four inch tear.
