Dean Electric was formed in 1903 in Elyria, Ohio and produced candlesticks right up until they changed their name to Garford Manufacturing Company in 1914. Then, the candlestick didn't change, but the name on the back of the transmitter did. You can see how similar candlesticks are. Garford was only in business two years until it was sold to Stromberg-Carlson Telephone Manufacturing Company in 1916. Dean candlesticks are a lot more common, Garford candlesticks are rare.
