Barrel length is 6", bore is .54. Small pistol manufactured in the 1830s. Features a half octagon solid brass barrel, with a dark mustard appearance. Iron tang is finely engraved, smooth brown patina, has a flared square handle with flat brass buttplate, features a finely engraved brass trigger guard. Excellent original walnut stock with most original finish and some minor chipping at right rear lock plate. Lack of any proof marks leads us to believe that it was American made and manufactured using London parts. Excellent American single shot pistol.
