This large custom single shot rifle was owned and used by Doc Johnson who hailed from Pennsylvania. He won first place in Friendship, Indiana with this rifle. The barrel is stamped "H. Lloyd Resor, Union City Ind" and is stamped with the serial number 1954. Top of barrel is stamped .450 1-18. Barrel has one inch flats and measures 29 inches. Blued finish retaining approximately 95%. It has a false muzzle and it sports a 39 inch tube scope finished in black enamel with brass ends. The adjusting mount is on the front with middle mount and a drilled set of holes (no mount) at breach. Features a solid brass frame with under lever percussion system. Deluxe pistol grip high gloss stock of highly figured grain and roll over cheek piece for right handed shooters with a black rubber recoil pad. Fine bore and action. It is accompanied by a set of shooting stands as well as loading tools and projectiles. The rifle weighs approximately 50 pounds. Ready for another trip to Indiana.
