.44 rimfire caliber with a 4" barrel. These revolvers were manufactured from 1866 to the mid-1880s. It is a Hammond patent and, as such, are often referred to as the Hammond Bulldog. They are a very large stout derringer. Features a 4" barrel, single shot, spur trigger, .41 caliber rf with a set of near mint checkered walnut grips. Gun is in excellent operating condition and is basically a gun metal grey patina. Strong near mint bore. Perfect action. Strong barrel legend. One of the largest and sturdiest single shot derringers ever manufactured.
