42" barrel in .41 bore-percussion. The barrel is not marked. The lock was manufactured by S. Moore. Full octagon barrel has a set rear and a small brass blade front. Has two brass retaining thimbles. Barrel is wedged with no plates. Features a brass palm plaque, trigger guard, buttplate, toe plate, and patch box. The stock has a distinctly striped appearance with a rich luster, but the last 13” of forestock are missing. Light engraving on brass patch box. Left side has no cheek piece or decoration. Has a brass thumb plaque. Has repairs at the wrist. Sports double set triggers. Nice looking rifle in untouched condition.
