36" barrel, .44 bore-percussionOffered is a fine Pennsylvanian half stock long rifle. The lock is stamped S & H Stafford warranted. This is a traditional percussion half stock sporting rifle with full octagon barrel, sporting leaf rear sight with blade front sight, has walnut stock with brass furniture. The octagon barrel is a smooth brown patina with some rub spots, a gold band at breech and a silver inlay thumb plaque. The walnut stock is near mint. Checkered at the wrist, still sharp, has brass trigger guard, wrap around butt plate, patch box, The lock is lightly engraved and is a blue brown patina. The stock and brass appear in near new condition. All the brass is shiny as are the screws. This rifle has no age to it and appears to be a more recent manufacture.
