barrel 40", .41 bore. This Pennsylvania full stock rifle features a full octagon barrel, it is signed on top of barrel flat either LF or LH. Given to it is a percussion long rifle we may attribute L. Harnins of Schuylkill County 1861 or Luis Horner Somerset County 1861. It is of simple design, lock is not marked and there is no engraving. Has the brass butt plate and patch box on right side, has double set triggers, brass trigger guard, left side of stock has a silver plaque with carved eagle, wood is in very good condition, brass has not been cleaned. Has a fine rifled bore, brass forend tip.
