48-1/2" barrel in .36 bore-percussion. The lock was manufactured by J. Golcher. Has a dovetail rear sight and blade front; beautifully finished striped full stock, three brass retaining thimbles, brass palm rest, trigger guard, buttplate, toe plate, and patch box. Left side has six decorations. Has a thumb plate. Three decorations on the right side. Grey patina on lock and barrel. Double set triggers. This is a nice looking rifle but it does have several issues: the stock is completely cracked at wrist, there is a crack at right forend center and hammer and triggers are not working. Needs some attention to the mechanics and the stock.
