5-1/5" barrel in .32-20 WCF. Manufactured in 1920. Offered is a lovely old first generation Single Action Army Revolver. Standard features include 5-1/2" blued barrel with ejector housing, six shot fluted blued cylinder, blued back strap and trigger guard, case colored frame and hammer and a set of black gutta percha Colt grips. The barrel retains approximately 60% original factory blue with most of the wear on the sides of the barrel. The ejector housing retains all the blue on top and none on the sides. Cylinder retains approximately 35% blue on the flats with most of the blue in the flutes. Rear grip strap retains blue on top, turned to brown on back. Trigger guard retains approximately 70% original blue. Frame retains approximately 20% original case colors, with the balance dull grey. Traces of color on hammer. Grips are excellent with no cracks and are original to the period, but not numbered. Barrel and frame legends are perfect. Exhibits all four Colt clicks. Lock-up is perfect. Bore is near mint. Very nice first generation.
