4" barrel in .31 percussion. Manufactured in 1860. This revolver has what appears to be a factory nickel finish with sharp legends and has the New York City barrel address. All matching numbers including wedge and lever. Has a perfect cylinder scene. No signs of having ever been fired at forcing cone or cylinder face. Brilliant fire blue on all screws. Original nipples. Varnished walnut grips are near mint. Nickel plating is wearing through on grip straps with some freckling. Any area where nickel may have been missing blends perfectly with the finish. Bore is mint and action is perfect. Comes in a vintage case with a Colt two cavity mold, an original Colt flask and cap tin. Extremely handsome Colt set.
