Caliber. 357 magnum with a 4" barrel. This revolver was manufactured in 1977. It is standard in all respects with the blued finish, vent rib, adjustable rear sight and wide target hammer. Checkered silver medallion walnut grips date to a much earlier 1950s Python and are in excellent condition. The gun shows only light use with a very light drag line and virtually all of the original factory blue finish with some barely perceptible high edge wear at edge of trigger guard. Overall 99%. Mint bore and action. These early Python grips are extremely valuable in their own right and are quite handsome on this revolver or could be easily replaced with a set of correct time-period grips.
