.41 rimfire caliber bore with a 23-7/8" barrel. Manufactured 1859 to 1888. These are referred to as the two trigger rifle, one opens the breech and one fires. Strong rifled bore with some minor abrasion. Has the sporting front sight and two leaf folding rear. Strong barrel legend. All metal surfaces are grey patina. There is some age spotting on barrel and right side of frame. Walnut stocks are very good with generous amounts of original varnish. There are two hairline 1” cracks on left side of wrist. Missing rear frame pin.
