.38 Smith & Wesson Special with a 2" barrel. This revolver was manufactured in 1966 only. It has the modern latch. Engraver's initials are on left side of frame. Gun is completely gold plated, including all small parts and features full coverage except for the cylinder flutes and front grip strap. All work was performed by a master engraver. The scrollwork is impeccable. Gun retains approximately 95% of the gold plate, thinning a bit on some high edges and on bottom of crane, and some thinning on cylinder. Mint bore and action. Sports imitation pearl grips. Gun has never been fired. Obviously the work of a factory engraver or one of that caliber.
