39" barrel, .12bore-percussionOffered is a well-made utilitarian full stock smooth bore sporting musket. The workmanship is not signed but a US stamped military barrel was used. The lock bares no markings and is a full stock walnut with no military stamps. This was obviously an early to mid-19th century conversion of an old military musket using the original military stock and barrel, adding a new percussion lock and probably saw its way into the frontier. The metal is brown patina and walnut stocks are excellent with no cracks. Great period piece.
