This early L.C. Smith has 30" special steel barrels, 2 -3/4" chambers with a bright and shiny bore. The left barrel has a choke constriction of .025 making it light modified and the right tube has a choke constriction of .045 making it light full. The original barrel blue rates 90%-92% with some light spotting. The receiver shows strong case colors on its side plates and silvering on the receiver belly. The forend shows no cracks or breaks. Has a black inlaid ebony tip and strong checkering. The forend does have some minor nicks and dings. The original wood finish has been removed on both the butt stock and forend. The butt stock is in good condition with strong checkering showing no cracks, breaks or other issues. The length of pull to the original plastic buttplate is 13 - 1/2" and has a drop at heel of 2 -3/4".
