Caliber is .22 long rifle, Barrel length is 28-3/8"This is a beautiful highest quality single shot falling block target rifle features: fully matted rib, full octagon barrel, ramp front sight that has a target hooded globe sight installed in slot, two scope bases, hammerless, blued finish with beautiful checkered walnut stock, high comb cheek piece, pistol grip, sling studs, and solid red rubber recoil pad. The frame features light engraving and the base is present for an adjustable lollipop sight but that sight is missing. The recoil pad is original but checked from age. The wood is near mint with sharp checkering. Metal surfaces retain 90% original blue with minor high edge wear with some freckling. Bottom of barrel is stamped F. R. Langenhan, Zella-Mehlis. Action is perfect and the bore is near mint. Extremely fine pre-war European single shot target rifle that needs only a scope or rear sight to get it on the range.
