.45 Long Colt caliber with a 7-1/2" barrel. Factory letter states that this gun was one of ten in a shipment to E.C. Meacham Arms Co. in St. Louis, Missouri, February 1st, 1881. Shipped as a 7-1/2" .45 with nickel finish with rubber grips. This revolver is in that configuration today with the exception that the grips have been replaced with a pair of walnut grips. Cylinder is basically grey patina with freckling. Frame retains approximately 10% original nickel with the balance brown patina. Hammer has been re-blued. Walnut grips are very good. Bore is strong.
