Features a 24" barrel in .22 Hornet. These fine rifles were only manufactured from 1949 to 1957. This is the considered the deluxe model with the checkered walnut pistol grip stock with Winchester grip cap and a checkered steel buttplate with sling swivels. It is a magazine fed bolt action with ramp front sight and sporting rear. It remains in excellent condition. Barrel retains approximately 95% of the original factory blue finish with strong barrel legend. The frame retains virtually all of the re-applied blued finish. Walnut stocks are excellent with no cracks or chips with an extra coat of finish applied. Trigger guard has 80% original blue. Original magazine is not stamped. Strong clean bore. Perfect action. A fine affordable vintage quality bolt action chambered for the popular .22 hornet cartridge.
